It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Pamela Bensoussan, Candidate for Chula Vista City Council Seat No. 3 in the non-partisan election to be held in June of 2008.
Many of you may already know Pamela. She demonstrates by example her belief in community participation in government. For years she has served in diverse leadership positions - from her role in organizing the Historic Home Tours to co-founding Chula Vista’s Northwest Civic Association. This past year she has chaired the Redevelopment Advisory Committee (RAC) and she is a current member of the Planning Commission and the Third Avenue Village Association (TAVA) Design Committee, just to name a few.
Pamela has been a strong advocate for responsible development in Chula Vista for many years. She believes that growth in Chula Vista’s economy can be achieved without damaging our neighborhoods and quality of life, and she is willing to do the hard work to make this goal a reality. We share this dream.
Known for her creative ideas that benefit the citizens of Chula Vista, Pamela has demonstrated the ability to engage in productive dialogue with stakeholders sharing diverse opinions. A native Chula Vistan and successful businesswoman, Pamela shares with me the commitment to work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for our residents.
